Weather:  The weather was warm at around 20′ C and mostly sunny.

Terrain:  The forest is a mix of spruce, pine, poplar and aspen. Some incline along the paths with small valleys off the paths..


Conditions had been dry for a few days with little rain. A few mushrooms were found along the way, but many were older or on the dry side. The best specimens were found along the path declines into small valleys.
