Weather:  The weather was pleasant at around 18′ C with some cloudy periods.

Terrain:  The forest is a mix of spruce, pine, poplar and aspen. Mostly flat terrain.


Mushrooms were reasonably prolific and edibles were found. A nice selection of mushrooms was saved for our display at the Beakerhead event at the Telus Convention Science Centre on Saturday, September 21, Noon – 4 PM and Sunday, September 22, Noon – 5 PM.
