The Foray was held in Perrenoud Wildlife Habitat Area – approximately 1 hour drive NW from Calgary Centre. On our arrival, we spotted a couple of other people who were not part of the AMS but who had collected a small amount of morels. Our AMS group then ventured into this 321 acre area to try our luck. Although a few morels were found, the numbers were not large. An interesting number of other mushrooms however were found and are noted below.
