46 people showed up for a nice walk in the river valley at Whitemud Creek. Several people came back with a few handfuls of verpae (135 in total), and one morel, but most arrived with only a few curiosities. A mother and son found a garter snake down by the creek and we watched it casually slide into the water and swim away. Another found a cool animal skull. I found a couple of coyote dens.
