What: Water Valley July Mushrooms
When did the foray occur: July 20, 2019
Foray Length: 3 hours
Attendance: 22 people
Mushroom Species Found:
- A VERY large 26lb Calvatia mushrooms (or giant puffball)
- Edibles included Agaricus, Hericium, Leccinum, Lactarius, Lycoperdon, Russula, and Armillaria (honey mushrooms!)
Terrain: Aspen/conifer mix with lots of deadfall. Wet ground and grass from current rainfall.
Weather Conditions: Cloudy but pleasant; around 18’C
